Ranked counts an abandoned game as a loss, so leaving a lost position is not a way up the table. Played is the same record over finished games only, and that is what the field number above is built from: someone closing their laptop is not a game the net won. The field number is also the only one here with a usable interval, because it is made of every game anyone played; at ten games a single row carries about ±110 Elo, so the order of the rows is mostly noise.
